Rice Pilaf

- 125 g (4.4 oz) white rice
- 1 medium onion
- 1 red pepper
- 1 celery stick
- 1 medium onion
- chicken stock (or water)
Sauté diced veggies + a pinch of salt
Cook until softened
Add rice and toast briefly
Add 300 ml chicken stock (or warm water)
Simmer on low heat 15 minutes
Fluff, garnish, and serve
Tips
Toasting the rice = deeper flavor + better texture
Keep the lid on while simmering for fluffy grains
Let it rest 5 minutes before fluffing
